How is this different than buying printable project plans?
Great question! PDF plans usually assume you know more than you do if you're just starting out. With the video tutorials, it'll be like you're in the shop building with me. I'll walk you through every single step and technique so that you can replicate it without thinking twice. Hallelujah for not having to repeat the same 10 seconds of a YouTube video 100 times in an attempt to figure out exactly what to do!
Throughout each lesson we'll also be sharing tips and techniques that have worked well for us. This is so much more than "attach leg to base using 1.25" Kreg screws."
what if i don't have a workshop?
No problem at all! We completed projects on the floor of our garage for years. As long as you have a small space to set up your tools and assemble your furniture, you're good to go. A driveway or garage make for a great makeshift workshop.
what if i don't have tools? should i wait and get the course later?
No problem! The very first lesson in the course goes over the key tools of DIY and offers recommendations on exactly what to buy.
We've specifically designed these projects to require minimal tools. In fact, you can complete every project in the basic version with a drill, miter saw, pocket hole jig, and some clamps. You can get all the tools needed for this course for less than $400 brand new. You can even get them for way less if you buy secondhand from places like Facebook Marketplace, estate sales, and pawn shops. Tool rental options are also available. Check your local library and https://localtools.org/find/.
how much do the projects cost to make?
The exact price and availability of materials vary based on where you live, but the supplies for all 4 projects should only cost approximately $200-$350 total. I bought the wood for all 4 of my projects for just $180 during the height of the pandemic. Since you have lifetime access to the course, you can spread out the costs and complete the projects whenever you want.

how long will i have access to the course?
Enrollment in this course comes with lifetime access. Work through the course on your own timeline and go back and refer to any of the lessons whenever you wish. You can access the course on a computer, phone, or tablet.
